この度、2025年4月8日から13日に開催されるSALONESATELLITE2025に出展致します。
「Forms of Japan - Forms of Living」と題して日本の美意識や文化性に着目したインテリアプロダクトのプロトタイプを展示します。
このプロジェクトでは、日本のライフスタイルや美意識を探求し、伝統的な要素が現代のインテリア空間とどのように調和できるかを再考しました。
近年、日本独自のインテリア要素である畳や障子は国内で減少傾向にあり、世界的な流れとともに洋風のインテリアが主流となっています。しかし、伝統的な日本の影響は今なお行動様式や日常生活に深く根付いており、西洋の文化的要素と自然に融合しています。
これらの要素を発展させることで、現代の様々な国のインテリアにおいても、多様な文化的背景の中で自然に調和しながら、日本の美意識や文化の一端を継承していけると考え、3つのデザインオブジェクトを制作しました。制作プロセスでは、木工や漆などの様々な分野の専門家との協働をおこなっています。

I am pleased to announce my participation in SALONESATELLITE 2025, taking place from April 8 to April 13, 2025.
Under the theme "Forms of Japan - Forms of Living", I will be showcasing prototype interior products that highlight Japanese aesthetics and cultural sensibilities.
This project explores the Japanese lifestyle and sense of beauty, reconsidering how traditional elements can harmonize with contemporary interior spaces.
In recent years, uniquely Japanese interior elements such as tatami and shoji have been declining domestically, while Western-style interiors have become the dominant trend in line with global shifts. However, traditional Japanese influences remain deeply embedded in behavioral patterns and daily life, naturally blending with Western cultural elements.
By developing these elements, I believe they can seamlessly integrate into modern interiors across different countries, harmonizing within diverse cultural backgrounds while carrying forward fragments of Japanese aesthetics and culture. With this vision, I have created three design objects.
The production process involves collaborations with specialists in various fields, including woodworking and lacquer craftsmanship, to bring these designs to life.
